Easton Sl Handlebars- Warranty Question

I just purchased a set of new Easton EC90 SL handlebars. Easton's website is extremely vague in its description of their "limited" lifetime warranty that covers this particular bar. The only activity that I have read that will immediately void the warranty is attempting to insert bar-ends.

Does anybody have the list, or a link to the document, of all the activities that will immediately void these handlebars and other Easton carbon handlebars that are covered by this lifetime warranty?

Also, does anybody have personal warranty experience with Easton?

Thank you in advance.

Have you emailed them. I find most companies are very cool when it comes to helping out with possible warranty situations.

Sorry, personally I don't buy easton, they just aren't "in the neighbourhood" up here, so I don't see them around

No, I have not emailed them. But, I just purchased the bars and have not done anything to them aside from removing the plastic packaging. Hence my questioning, I want to know what I can and can not do with concern to the warranty.

I have heard that chopping carbon bars over a specified amount, might also void the warranty.

I am just attempting to find any specifics on what will void the warranty and if anybody has personal experience with Easton's warranty department. Thanks again!
