Road Apple Rally race shots, Farmington, NM

Some shots from the 27th annual Road Apple Rally race. I was covering it for the Farmington Daily Times, where I'm a photo intern.

We're using the first three for the front page of the Sports section tomorrow:

Winner (I'm happy about the moment that happened for this one, with his expression and everything):

A kid riding some of the sandstone near the start, x-up to fakie. I had a flash right out of the frame to the right on full power, but it didn't really do anything to compete with ambient so the contrast is pretty bad.:
