06 Kona Kikapu- worthy to upgrade?
I have this bike https://wheelworld.com/itemdetails.cf...gId=39&id=3884
So far I put crank brothers mallet pedals, new grips, new tires, and new race face XC cranks.
With Christmas coming up, is it worth it to continue upgrading this bike? if so, what parts?
or should i just save for a new bike

depends. After you upgrade the bike are you going to be happy with it and ride it until it snaps in half? Or is it to "get you by" until the next bike. If its the latter than I suggest saving up.

just to add my personal experience. I have a hardrock and like many people, wanted to do all kinds of crazy upgrades on it. then I looked around at all the pretty FS rigs around and decided to wait. I'm saving up for a Preston (I think its the Preston FR for now, that may change)
And in the meantime, I ride.
And in the meantime, I ride.

Your rear shock is a turd. Throw it in the trash and replace it with something decent. By doing this your bike will behave completely different. If you have more money you could replace the front as well. The frame is worthy. Trust me, I speak from experience.
