This may be a really stupid question to sum people but can magura Rim brakes be used on mountain bikes that will go through all sorts? cos the only bikes ive seen the on are trials bikes and one road bike :S

I use them on one of my MTB's no problems here. Trials riders use them for their power. DH riders used them for awhile until disc, and high modulation V-brakes were bolted on their bikes. They are still IMHO the strongest rim brakes you can get some wil cry about the weight though.
