It would work well as armour. Anytime someone exclaims "Dag yo! That shiznitz is da bomb!!!" you will be protected from the slang.

Does that 2.75 lbs. include all of the gravel, mud, sticks, etc. that could get caught up in the frame?

Kinda strange... the little strands are so narrow that if they were to be slammed against something there would be huge pressure, and if one of them snapped the frame would pretty much be useless. Interesting concept.
