I believe it's still part of math curriculums at most four-year colleges still, isn't it?

Do well in school XC and go to college. Then you will be able to pass bad advice in complete sentences.

i'm not sure what logic classes are still being taught but i had a symbolic logic class for my comp. sci degree. i'm sure they must have some sort of logic classes for math majors.

The people who call logic classes "stupid" are precisely the ones who need to take them.

Well there is the problem. You're taking classes from a school that charges $666 per credit hour. Just remember, they teach the same undergraduate mathematics at the local public university extension as they do at MIT, Harvard, Notre Dame or ... wherever.

No. A forum is a place where you communicate. When you communicate you should always strive to write correctly and precisely as that means people will both understand what you're trying to say and will also take you more seriously.

This thread made me think someone snuck some de-caf in the coffee pot.

OP - I don't find it surprising that a 7 year old BB broke. Things wear out. I'm glad you're in one piece!

xc13 - ask yourself "why do big companies get big?", and then try to separate product from customer service. A small company will indeed have better customer service, or it won't be in existance long enough to become a big company and cut the customer service budget.
