Different size crank pullers
 

I just tried to remove a pair of cranks, the first time for this new bb/crankset setup, and the tip of the puller was too small and just slid into the hole that goes through the bb (isis). Is there a specific crankarm puller for isis drive bb's? Right now I am using a Wrench Force puller, the one with the triangular red plactic handle looking thing. On another note, does moisture and or cold weather ever make a bb squeak? It only does it on one part of a full pedal rotation.

In a sincere effort to not confuse Blue Neon I'll answer this with the intense sincerity he seems to require. You may need a different puller. Best bet is to ask at the LBS, tell them what crank you have or let them take a look.
In theory both of the things you mentioned could make a BB squeak. I've never had a squeak caused by these though, my expierience with BB squeaks were caused by a loose fit on one bike and more commonly, a lack of grease on some old square tapers. I ride with an Ipod and let the shop service my bikes often so it's possible they've fixed noises I was never aware of.

Fable: thank you for the incredibly sincere reply. The squeaking: my bb is shot after about 4-5 months. I fashioned a new awl for the crank puller from a bolt with the head rounded. Got the cranks off then went to loosen the bb cups and they may as well have just been hand tight on there. Definitely way too loose and I'm pretty sure my bb is shot. It makes a really ear-bleeding grinding sound when turned. I tried cleaning out any dirt that could have snuck in, but no dice. Until my new bb comes I'm just going to deal with the squeaking because what else could it ruin? nothing really.

Sorry to hear about the bum BB. Everybody likes something different when it comes to lube/grease. I use Pedros myself. Hopefully Blue Neon is not embarrassed for me by this post.

I think the main thing that did it in was the bb cups being too loose. I have a feeling that the bearings just got ground out of whack by the off-square forces and now there's a bunch of metal floating in the cartridge. I found a pretty good deal on pricepoint, though. 25 for a truvative team dh gigapipe.
