Its the pounds of pressure per square inch of your tire.
It's force per unit area, not pressure per unit area.

wow lol.
Im not going to waste time answering questions that people probably already know lol
it the measure of air in something.
its the force exerted per square inch.
its the unit of measurement for pressure.

Pythagorean theorem is easy. Radicals I hate with a passion. What troubles are you having?

Just was never taught how to simplify the dang things (my algebra teacher got up and left the school one day, never came back.... so he screwed us ALL) and now in geometry its killing me LOL

i got the whole a2+b2=c2 thing
but Simplifying radicals is killing me

like this one word problem here:
A small commuter airline flies to 3 cities whose locations form the vertices of a right Triangle.
The total flight distance (from a-b-c-a is 1400 miles.
it is 600 miles from the two cities that are farthes apart. Find the other two distances beween the cites.

to sum that up Is what im getting is the Hypotenuse is 600, and the two legs are unknown.
i cant got anyfarther lol.
-- BTW this is 10th grade math.

i keep mine at 50psi...it keeps them hard for climbs, yet, they still have traction when you want to go down.

Wouldn't that depend on the type of riding your doing ?

I run 25 - 30 psi on the downhill bike on loose sketchy tracks. More tyre surface area for traction. If your not rolling fast enough on a downhill track (?) put some pedals in.

Obviously run them higher on the XC bike.

Set up a system of equations, one being x+y=800, the other being x^2+y^2=600^2, then solve for either x or y in the first equation, plug it into the second and solve for the remaining variable. The answer is 258.579 miles and 541.421 miles. x and y are the two unknown distances. Didn't you say you wanted to go to a military academy...?
