Man! This sucks...
Well after my ride on Sunday I put the bike up. I hop back on it on Tuesday and my rear tire has 15 pounds of pressure in it. So yea, I had a real small hole in it, most likely from a thorn bush I ran over by mistake. So after repalcing the rear tube, I put the bike back up due to weather. Yesterday, the front tire is squishier than usual.. Its got a real small hole! so I pumped it back up to 65, and today its around the 55 mark. AHHH!
Flats suck.
Can't wait for my tire liners. I'm thinking about the Slime Liners, any good things about them?

Why not try specialized armadillo tyres? They're pretty much puncture proof for on road use so for off-road I can only assume the same.

I'd recommend learning how to patch a tube. No liners are going to prevent every flat.

Did you check to see if the thorn(or whatever) is not still in the tire?

Yea I'm getting a patch kit also, patching is something I'm familiar with after riding in Alaska.
Those tires look awesome also.
Thanks Hammer Man
Your the first one to compliment it.
I've caught a lot of Flak over my sig already lol.
Yes I checked over every centimeter of the tire.

Sorry, was on Moms computer, the keyboard is different then my laptop, I always screw up on it.
I was told by my LBS to stay at 65, but I think he thinks I'm an Uber Newb who has never ridden before.
I'm going to drop down to about 45-50 next time I ride.
PS. My moms computer also doesn't have Firefox. The spell check feature is wonderful.

The keys have a different shape/size, the angle of the keys is different and the curve is different.

I bet the ride gets better when you lower your pressures.
There was once I took my bike in for service, when I first started, it pumped up my pressures to 40-45 and when I went out to the trail, I was bouncing all over the place. I thought it was trying to kill me. No wonder it went out of business.
