Need your guys' opinions on this potential bike purchase

Hi guys,

First post here, been lurking for quite awhile though. I was wondering what your guys' expert opinions would be on this bike:

http://chico.craigslist.org/bik/569645175.html

I've offered him $825 and he seems like he'll take it. According to MTBR.com if this is a Jamis Dakar 3.0 they retail for just over $3000, but retail prices are always inflated. Do you guys think this is a good buy? Just based on the components and the condition (looks like it is almost new but we'll see) it looks like a good deal to me. Thanks for your input guys

lol its a great deal, just ask him if you can take it to a LBS and get it checked out, before you buy. But its still a great deal. I would take it.

It sounds like it might be warm. Be sure the frame still has a serial number.
