Nice pics, man, what type of camera did you get? Ill be getting one for christmas. Was thinking of one with 3million pix's and movie capabilities for shootin some bike stuff.
How easy are they to use? Like is major resizing needed to fit on this site? LOL i take it the guy in the first pic had a nasty fall? :D |
Heh, yeah, Gene was alright, just a little sore. I bought the Canon Rebel Digital, 6.3MP and I have a 70-300mm zoom... a really cool camera!
Check it out on www.canon.ca Joe |
dude...you must be loaded. :D
that guy in the first pic looks like he is taking quite a fall. awesome quality i must add. |
the kid in the 3rd pic from the top. is he riding with a Judy (tt or C) fork? did he break it!?
|
WOW thats one meaty camera!
Where did you get it, i mean did you buy locally or online? I was thinking of getting one from amazon, does anyone know any cheaper online retailers? Thanks dude, and great pics! |

Dazza: I bought my camera locally at Ginn Photographic. Being in Canada, online services like Amazon and whatnot are super expensive. Once you add the low US dollar and all the Canadian import taxes, I save money buying it in Canada! Might be better for you if you live in the USA. I've seen it for $999US online. If you go to www.epinions.com they have all the retailers and prices listed... that might help! Joe |
Wow thats expensive! Im in the UK here, and the local retailers really arent that good to be honest, i think ill have to have a good look around before i make a decision.

How do you carry such a nice camera around on your bike without smashing it at some point? Your new camera / lens is not all that small, so I wonder what is the best way to ride with it?
Nice pics btw! |
first pic made me laugh =] looks like an endo to me
|
Nice pics ! Looks like a fun place to ride that's for sure, where is it?

Nice pics btw! I recently got a new big camera as well. When I take it riding I keep it in a Lowepro bag which I strap to my chest via a neck and waist strap. It works fairly well, I definitely know it's there, but it is suprisingly comfortable. And having it along is worth it... http://www.anthonysloan.com/kenosha.html http://www.anthonysloan.com/utahtodurango/tmtn24.jpg http://www.anthonysloan.com/utahtodurango/zionnp3.jpg |
H. Star (Strongbad is my fav..) I use a lowerpro backpack.. everything is sectioned off, and as long as I don't fall, everything is cool. After years of riding with a HelmetCam, I now have two gears... With Equipment, and without... works well so far, I'm sure if I fell the bag would have enough protection as long as I am careful.
cyberace: All around Ottawa... the Capital of Canada... Come up for a ride sometime! :) The guy in the first photo is from Jersey... since they won our Lord Stanley's Cup, I thought we would get him back... :) Singlespeedster: Thanks for the photos and link! From the cold north up here, your photos make me super jealous! :) Joe |
