wow, thanks guys. I just thought everyone on here shuned you if you didnt have crazy super premium bike. Thanks for the compliments. I like the clean look of my bike as well. Ill take more pics later.

Nah, where did you get THAT idea? The only bikes that I see get slammed are those that are dangerous and fall under the category as a "toy" by the retailers that sell them.

You do have a pretty nice bike there. I think it is prettier than my evaporated milk colored bike.

are you referring to Kona Caldera (evaporated milk)......I could be totally wrong...but caldera was the first thing that came to my mind....

yeah, metalic colors are pretty interesting. I like orange and yellow a lot.

But, I think I have a certain appreciation for subdued colors that Kona used to use for their XC hardtails, post 2006. I have a 2005 cinder cone, and really like the bike and the color. it does not make me look like, I am screaming for attention. Guess, I am too old.

whats your take on Konas new XC hardtail line (sorry they dont call it XC anymore, they are calling it backcountry HT)? about the frame compared to 2005 frames? any thoughts experience.
