YAY! New stuff!!!!!
Well, this week has been like an early birthday
Bike rack,
Thomson Seat post
Hyrdra Pack
and a gift from a friend, a multi-tool (it was on sale for like 5 bucks, why not?)
Yes, I modified my bike rack to use a normal locking hitch pin. Didn't want to buy the 40.00 thule pin.
I didn't have proper sized bits/tools, so I got creative and cut the inner nut off, and drilled out sections, and hand filed it back roundish. It works. The cardboard and tape thing on the end is just so it doesnt wobble and freak my mother out.
Click this picture for a quick slide show.

EVentually I get one that is a bit more comfy, but the angle variety with this post has made this seat feel better.
My old seat post bent the rails, I had to grab a clamp and queeze them in again.
Yes, Indeed they are disk brake mounts.
Next on my upgrade list is a pair of clipless pedals and shoes.

Can't wait to ride a trail, and not worry about my seat getting loose/ falling off.
The best part is, my multi tool's hex wrench actually works with the screws on the Thomson. The Bontrager was a bigger size that nothing fit.

one less horse
He has some sort of weird fascination with saddles. He's posted a number of pictures of his. It's quite odd, really, how someone can be obsessed with a piece of leather soaked in ass sweat.

Exactly.
I have a saddle fetish, it's finally time someone called me on it.
LOOK AT IT ******BAG! It's covered in ass sweat! LOOK AT IT!
Sorry if I want my saddles to look nice, but a seat can make or break a bikes looks. However, my Flite is possibly the most comfortable saddle I've ridden, so no compromises in the performance category.

Care if I quote myself? I'm very concerned with how a bike rides, but aesthetics are important when you can get them without a compromise.
@Psycle_Chic
Nah, that's when I got the saddle brand new.
I've done some riding, so I don't consider myself 100% poseur.

Does the bike make you look good?
If so, I feel badly for you. Do you have low self esteem? Work on yourself, not the bike. And YOU will look good.

No. I wear tight pants with light blue jersey's. There is no way I can truthfully say I look good on my bike.
That aside, what's wrong with making my bike look good? Selle Italia and Selle San Marco saddles always fit my rump perfectly, so I put them on all of my bikes. They have great aesthetics, put more importantly are comfortable and pretty light as well. Why can't I enjoy my saddle?
In a totally normal way. Just so no one tries anything witty.....

Also, I decided I am a poseur. I broke a nail.
Also I just realized I got removed from the Forum Ride.
