training ideas

hey fellow mountain bikers...i am looking for some interesting training ideas to keep my rides interesting. hopefully going to do a couple races in mid-late april in redding. need some fun workout themes to do while riding? any ideas would be great.

In Arcata, Ca? You could ride through some pot farms and see if you can outrun the gunfire.

^^ In this enlightened age it is not polite to leave bodily fluids on the trail any more. That becomes classed as a biohazard and forces people like me to have to go out and properly cordon off the area, deny entry and call in a HazMat response team to decon everyone an everything that came in contact with it.

^^ That's right, make sure to stumble at least a couple feet off the trail before you blow. Nobody likes smelly tires.
