Alot of it's tuned. It could be, I've seen one of Maxxis's riders have one down to like 18 with just xtr and stuff.

Why is right. Looks to me like someone with obsessive compulsive disorder forgot to take their medicine before building a bike...

Cool bike but at that point I would probably just go full rigid if I needed a sub 14lb bike.

It's lighter then alot of the SS on there! Would having a bike that weighs 13lbs even make a difference ina race though?

Is that V-Brakes on disc rims I see?

Seems to me whoever gets/rides this bike might as well give up and ride road.

It'd feel like riding a toothpick...but I'm used to a 40lb DH bike so I may be biased.
