Please Help!!

Can someone pleeeeeease tell me who makes the frame shown in the attached photos? The parts it lacks seem to be model specific and i'm clueless...

Some people may be able to help if you had a serial number, not me though, sorry. My first thought was Kona. No idea why, it just popped into my head.

are you sure its not a walmart bike? Looks a lot like my old beater with no paint

Likely not. WalMart generally liked Y-frames and it's various variants up until just a few years ago, when they started using the faux bar. And this particular frames looks pretty old.

That does look old... The BB bearings seem to be held in by circlips, like the old Gary Fishers... Try the vintage section of the mtbr forums if you don't get any more info here...
