Looking for Sidi feedback.

So, my Specialized shoes blew a strap this weekend and I'm going to upgrade. The shop says that the shoes will be covered by warranty so I'll only have to pay the difference in price. I've been contemplating an upgrade in shoes and I tried on a pair of Sidi Dominators while I was in the shop today. I use Sidi Genius' for my road bike and have found the fit to be absolutely perfect in a 46 but for some reason that same size in the Dominator felt tight on the sides of my feet. I know that you can get them in mega size so that is probably what I'll do. How do you like your Dominators on the trail? Also, anyone using Dragons? If so, what do you think of those?

Thanks,
Mike

I am useing the Sidi bullet II simply because I could not afford the Dominator ($180.00 on Ebay) and also they are not such an eye sore to look at like so many other brands I found. I will definitely buy the mega version when I decide to upgrade and when the funds become available though for sure! Oh and yes, Sidi shoes run a tad small I've discovered only after my purchase of course... But Sidi products rock in my book. If ya find them cheap let me know.

Try them on first. I've tried to like sidis several times but they just don't fit my foot. They're too narrow at the ball of the foot for me and squeeze my toes together.

love my sidi BUllets, I beat them up pretty bad and they still feel like they are held togather very well. I like the velcro without the straps though, little easier to slip on or off for what ever reason and i always feel like i have plenty of support and they might as well be glued to my feet.

Mega Dominators in a 46 = bliss on the trail! Thanks for the input to all.
