Mounting rear bike light to backpack?

I'm trying to figure out a good way to do this.
Does anyone have any ingenious ideas?

The ingeniouses at many of the light manufacturers have already thought of this. Each of the rear lights I own has a clip that can be used for this purpose.

Clip, tab, combo tape/fabric strap. Hole punch, stout cord and some more tape, maybe knots. Pocket with zippered opening. A midget in a harness worn around your shoulders. Place the midget pointing in whichever direction you'd like light. Height adjustments of the midget system may be required depending on users light directional needs.

get one of them [sufficient] LED lights that feature a belt clip ~ post bracket clip (universal). just clip on.

my topeak saddlebag has this tab on the back which fits this belt clip light (i really hate fitting brackets n ting to my bike)

I just clip the light onto an available strap/loop, then add a cable tie for good measure.
