I've got a wide foot and can say that addidas make a narrow, shoe so stay clear of them. I recently bought a pair of Sette shoes from price point, the top of the line Sette MTB shoes and they are wide and fit great.

Don't run red lights, wear a helmet, use hand signals, get some cycle lights(front and rear) and, FFS, don't run red lights!

Check out the older set of these Cannondales

Great price compared to Sidi for sure. Plus if you have to cross a stream on rock it's not like walking on ice like Sidi or other race oriented MTB shoe. I have found Shimano to make a wider footbox than the average shoe. Sidi non mega are quite narrow.

The discontinued Nike shoes that Trek is blowing out have wides at smokin prices. Just bought a pair of road shoes for 50% off at my LBS
