Anyone ridden a K2 Brass Monkey?
Brass Monkey that funky junkie...
No seriously, have you guys seen the deal at Supergo on this bike? That's a whole lotta bike for the money.
I'm trying to convince a co-worker to buy it. He's building up a new bike and needs a lot of parts. If he were to buy them seperately, it'd cost him about the same as buying this complete bike. I've offered to buy the frame, crank and wheels off of him (since he already has those!) to help ease the financial commitment.
He's get to get approval from his boss, er I mean wife. But, I think he'll be up for it.
Regardless, I was wondering if anyones ever ridden this bike? I looks a lot like my Specialized P.3 I should have never sold.
Any input?

I know how you feel about getting rid of your P3, I didn't sell mine, but It looks like I may have to warranty the frame, in which case means a new wheelse tand new brakes. For that kind of cash I might as well get a different frame. but regardless, I had actually looked ath the K2 bu was not sure of the stability.

my friend at school used to ride that frame for dirt jumping and urban riding. he rides "hard" and is 6'3" also. his frame cracked at the seat tube i believe after a solid 2 years of riding. but other than that he said he loved the frame and would keep riding them if they put up to his abuse.
