To me, it's worth the $50.00 that I'm willing to give you for it. You may feel differently, especially if you stole it and don't know what it was worth in 1998.

no, not at all, you know how vintage things are, as they age their value as well some times either decreases or increases, hence the reason why iam selling

Cannondale hasn't been making bikes long enough to have one ever considered vintage.

Then you won't argue with my $50.00 offer for your "vintage" goods, right?

I have t-shirts twenty years older than that bike, wanna trade? My t-shirts fall into the true vintage category.

Old is different than vintage. Value for an old bike can be based on something unique such as certain designs that might be sought after yet no longer in production due to new innovations/improvements and such.

You're missing the point, sunshine. You'll notice that I'm the only one who has given you any dollar amount for your "vintage" bike.

The bike is ten years old, and you haven't listed any kind of condition, images, or upgrades.

I offered you $50.00 blind. That amount is likely to go down with any information provided by you. Unless of course you're running Phil Wood hubs.

Oh, and all of my replies have been on topic.

I don't know an exact price for the bike, but I can tell you a bike from 1998 is NOT considered "vintage", it's just old.

You won't get anything near $500 for that bike, go much, much lower.

your bike isnt worth ****...strip the parts and make it into a commuter. selling old bikes is such a complete waste of time. or give it to a bike depot that needs the parts.

While I think he may have answered in a fairly hard manner, he is right. You'll probably get little for your bike.
