I love spring.

Yeah, yeah, a few of these are re-gurgitated from the last month or so. Some aren't. Deal with it either way.
Spring finally rolled in around these parts, and riding started off with a downy soft freshness. Meeting some new folks to ride with on some new to me trails is never a bad thing, either. Dropping in (I missed him on the off) on Mother's Day. (Yes, the feature has a name. No, I don't know the circumstances of said name.) http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f1...n/IMG_5057.jpg Lost part# 3452456 http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f1...n/IMG_5167.jpg Oddly enough, found at the bottom of this little ramp. I've actually found quite a bit of bike detritus down there. It's smooth and fast, with a little lip you can pop off on the bottom. Fairly short LZ though, and a quick left hander afterwards that seems to take folks by surprise. A bit too fast, and rather than taking the corner, you might find yourself eating bark. http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f1...n/IMG_5258.jpg Greener-ish pastures. http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f1...n/IMG_5191.jpg A short little blip of a connector trail, that has several fun poppers in one direction, and a fun drop going the other way. With a loop that lets you hit it repeatedly to session said drop. http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f1...IMG_5129-1.jpg Some of the most excellent helmet hair ever. http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f1...n/IMG_5249.jpg To be fair, he did earn it. Unfortunately this was the best shot I managed. http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f1...n/IMG_5230.jpg This one isn't as bright, but a bit early on the timing. That rock looks smallish, but it throws you quite nicely down trail. http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f1...n/IMG_5237.jpg Some of Pukemaster's fine trail building work. This is nearing the end of a nice long spine line, finishing with a short log ride after the little droplet here. http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f1...n/IMG_5234.jpg Tweaking, ever tweaking. http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f1...n/IMG_5183.jpg |
You got some cool trails in your neck of the woods.

Not much of this sort of thing in Colorado.

I swear, he didn't even loft the front end to get up on the thing. http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f1...n/IMG_5172.jpg That's how we roll. http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f1...n/IMG_1243.jpg |
