You can only use Load Bearing Tools to remove Load Bearing Decals.

Sum it up: LBT's remove LBD's.

Siu Blue Wind 05-06-08 09:30 PM

Or you can have your LBS do the LBDs with the LBTs - the LDSs do it all the time.

Only if your LBS employs certified LBMs - Load Bearing Mechanics.

lbrs

Where are all the lbrs or load bearing retailers?

Dannihilator 05-07-08 09:02 PM

Too busy bearing a load to answer.

Trekbikedude 05-07-08 09:05 PM

Oh! Well all I know is my bearings had too much load so the load bearing decals holding them disintegrated.

that's why I carry duct tape .. it'll get you a couple of miles if your LBD gets damaged. I'm going to invent load bearing duct tape that will make me millions.

edit ... oh wait I wasn't supposed to let that leak on a public forum... I'm ruined.

Shoulda used the duck tape instead. Seals the leaks on ducks pretty good.

Dannihilator 05-07-08 09:30 PM

You'd never be able to get it off when it's ready to be released the adhesive on duck tape is extra super strong due to it having to stick to duck feathers.

Have I mentioned I love confit de canard?

I cover all the bases: I carry a bit of duct tape and I carry a spare jar of Duck's for the occasional trailside chips-and-salsa emergency - -

You need a mariachi to be complete.

Trekbikedude 05-08-08 10:54 AM

yep

they were phil wood bearings.

I'm gonna send them an e mail on how the adhesive isn't strong enough on their lbds.

Were they made by Phil Wood, or did they just say Phil Wood on them?

Trekbikedude 05-08-08 08:02 PM

decals said

the lbds said pw on them so I assumed they were pwlbds.

Oh, I was thinking they actually said, "Phil Wood!" like a cheer.

If your components talk to you, walk away slowly.

Why do people resurrect threads like these? There's really no reason for it.

lazebum...what's your point and do you expect someone to go back over 4 pages of 6-month-old discussion to read this comment of yours?

Welcome noob.

I know a mod-lock is asking a bit much for this thread but it is pretty anti-directional.

free_pizza 11-29-08 07:27 PM

ca7erham 11-29-08 10:26 PM
