I'm impatient...

I need another $400 before I can get a new ride, and I havent ridden in a while because I dont have a reliable bike. I'm getting really impatient and I was hoping someone could give ideas as to how to pass the time (preferably something that brings in some money). I'm 15, so it isn't like next week I'll have the money. Thanks!

I'm waiting on a frame to get to the house so i can build it up. I spend my time riding my other bike. You could cut grass and grill burgers.

Thanks guys!

Hooking up with rich chicks is a great idea, but there arent any in my area, my school is about 650 kids I heard.

I'm actually already mowing, grass is being stupid though and wont grow I think I'll ride my old bike a little, even though it annoys me because it's pretty beat up.

I'm actually working on a resume right now. Since we're on the topic, do employers get mad at you for quitting after a month or two? If it started to take too much time away from riding, I'd consider quitting, just because this is the last summer I don't have to work.

I know I am becoming a broken record on this . . . but learning patience is probably one of the most important lessons that the next generation needs to learn. Current culture has none. This is helping us being overweight and in debt (live for today, right now). Our country is this way. We are talking about ways to artificially lower gas prices with no thought of how that will effect tomorrow.

I know what you mean, but waiting a year for a new bike really starts to wear on you. I'm calling up my lbs right now to ask them a couple questions. That might help a little.

Thanks!

In the past, most newbies waiting on a new bike made countless new threads on what parts of said bike they should upgrade. It's a great way to make friends and influence people!

I kinda noticed. I've actually decided I'm gonna let the bike be, just swap the grips and maybe the bars, since I have better ones kicking around. Might cut them down a little too.

So I just talked to my lbs, they don't have one in (which isn't a problem), but I asked them if they do monthly payments and they don't, so that sucks, but hopefully I'll have the money soon!
