Question about Pedal Force MTB & groupbuy

I am thinking about returning to some mountain biking after quite a few years away, so I went in my garage and dusted off my non-suspension Diamond Back Ascent that had at least 15 years of dust on it and found out I have scavenged parts for other bikes and friends bikes from it. So rather than rebuild it I am looking around. I missed out on the Moto Ti hardtail, but now I see that PF has started up a new group buy on the carbon MTB, $600 for 10 or more, $525 for 30 or more. Seems to be a reasonable price. I searched and although I can find a few posts not any one of them really gives ride type reports or impressions after building, except for the guy who built the rigid fixed gear weight weenie.

If you have not seen the GB it is here:

I am not planning nor did I ever ride very hard or technical trails, and generally just go to the local county parks and ride around the lake or whatever trail they have. Time is usually the limiting factor here. Does anyone else have any thoughts on frame quality or ride after building. My budget is meager (>2000).

Thanks in advance.
