How Reliable is B.O.A lacing system on Shoes?
Conerned about performance in mud, sand, water....basically the mountain biking elements. Also, how strong is that lace? I race so if it broke I'd be screwed.

it can stand up to plenty of that. That is not a brand new technology . . . shoes, boots, baseball gloves and more have had a system like this for years. A metal cable can be very very strong. I have not heard much about failure on the north face gear with it.

I love the boa lacing system on my road shoes. No experience with boa lace mtb shoes, but I'm looking to replace my Nike Kato mtb shoes with either Pearl Izumi Viper II, Lake MX400 or Specialized BG S-works since they use the boa system.

not sure why a glove would need it. Okay, I'm pulling the tigger on the S-Works. They fit better than the Pro Carbon's, but at $280 they better. I guess it's only $55 more than Pro Carbon and a 100 grams lighter. So very comfy.
