Can anyone identify this Specialized (with pics)

Hi There

First time posting here, long time lurker. Have learnt a lot from this forum. Thanks.

Can anyone help me identify this Specialized frame? I'm thinking of buying it and I'd love to know what model the frame is and how old it is. Most of the components have been added on, so it's the frame I'm most interested in identifying. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I love the way this bike rolls and handles.

A buddy says the embossed Specialized logo on the top tube should help identify it, but I can't find a reference to this anywhere.

Am posting images as links. Couldn't get it to work otherwise.

Probably a Rockhopper, judging from the disc brake tabs I would say 2000-2001. Looks identical to my 1998 Rockhopper, minus some head-tube junction differences and the tabs. Slight chance it may be a Stumpy.

yea the 99 rockhopper top of the line model came in polish aluminum finish i am guessing that would be a likely guess to what fram you have in the pictures.
