Anyone have a Stinky?
I'm getting a Kona Stinky on Monday. Does anyone have a horror story regarding this bike before I drop the cash? I need to know! Thanks

Hey i dont have 1 but they kick ass. Ive ridden one and plenty of freeride pros ride them. You wont be disappointed.
The only thing that will let the bike down is the wheelset because they changed the stock from singletracks (i think) to Ditch Witches. But dont let that put you off

I have owned a Stinky since they first came out. Great rig. Handles just about anything you can throw at it. Granted I now have the Stinky Primo, Stab Primo and a Bear in the garage but again, no complaints. Very easy to pedal and they all love to be ridden hard.
I have owned Konas since '95 and have never had a complaint.
It is speced with some decent part so you should not have to upgrade anything until it breaks.

I would be careful with the "stinky" jokes because some people at these forums are so prudish that they can't take a joke!
I got reprimanded by the moderator when someone reported a post of mine whereby I made an innocuous (non-trolling, non-flaming) joke which was considered lewd and/or sexist by someone.
Then they accused me of inciting others!
Sheesh! Talk about censorship and book-burning gone awry.
