Jumping and Rebound
I was riding some of my local trails and came across a bunch of small dirt jumps. At slow speeds I could ride through the whole section comfortably and still manage to get both wheels off the ground, but when I picked up the pace I felt I was going to endo every time I landed.
My questions are: Do I just have bad form and need to practice more or could it be the rebound on my front fork (rockshox recon race)? If the rebound is part of the problem should I increase or decrease it? I am always playing around with the rebound setting, but have a hard time noticing the difference unless I make a significant change. |
