Northwest Dirt Culture series by Grubworks is pretty good - - loys of gravity stuff from all around the Pacific Northwest: Port Angeles, Mt. Hood, Spokane, Silver Mtn ID, Crankworx and more. Between the Tape is supposed to be good too; but I haven't seen it yet.

these are some cool dvd links you guys, but Im thinking more on the movie like scene, kinda like the movie supercross where they didnt totally focus on the motocrossing but the story of thier motocrossing lives while the punch line was still on motocross they had events along the way you know like a regular movie type movie. Does anything like this exsist?
if you want see an example of what im talking about google supercross the movie trailer and take a peek.
Thanks again for the links!

Yeah, I think the OP is referring to feature movies that are on a theme. Think "Top Gun", "Days of Thunder", etc. I can't think of any. I think there were a few on BMX but those date back to the 80s or so.

I get it now - - like Blue Crush and stuff. That would be cool but I sure am not aware of any. If they could figure out how to work in gals in bikinis and a car-chase scene or two, it might even be commercially feasible.

lol well they did a great job on the movie supercross about two guys gunning for the shot at a big time supercross race with sponsers and all the heart aches/good times that went with it and the movie was awesome. If they would come out with one with some mtb bike theme it would be great.

Get American Flyers, I think its Kevin Costner in it. You can watch it and pretend its a mountain bike film.
That movie was on the TV at the shop the other day and in one scene they are not going super fast, but a good speed, and their cadence looks like they are in a super high gear. They look like those guys you see riding to work in the morning or afternoon riding on totally flat ground and their legs are spinning like crazy, but they are going no where fast because they think its easier. Good times.

You could write a "gleaming the cube" style movie with a bike messenger in it sooooo easily . . .
If there was a movie about a mountain biker, I'd love the lead role to be a Bobke type character.

Not a movie but there was a good mt. biking TV show a few years back called Pacific Blue. It is about bike police and their adventures...has some really cool urban tricks with the sweet bikes of the day.
