Quality parts in the top range MTB?

I bought a expensive bike not long time ago, XTR equipped and best Fox sus and so on.
I have a lot of **** to put give this parts or its becoming the bike brand (watch out dealers, brands), it dont matter what kind of bike, the frame is good, its the parts.

1. My crank become ****ed up after 20km, it was noise-full for every step. So i had to shift the brand new Shimano XTR crank, then it become so noiseless that everyone dont turned looking after me.

2. My bike was delivered with Prowler MX 2.1, but the inner tube was some korean unknown ****. I have rarely experienced any puncturing before so i wondered what the hell has happened. But the place where the valve is attached/welded to the tube was half way off..

4. And the DVD that came with my Fox suspension dont work with my MAC.

3. Shimano`s developers can **** themself. When i was buying a new bike to 5500$ i thought that compared to my old 2001/2002 Shimano XT system my new XTR 2008 would have developed.. But its not, maby a few gram less, but my old system is quicker when it comes to shifting. And my old XT 2001/2002 have not been bended yet, my new XTR is already bend. And no... It was slow before it was bend. And i have had 2-3 good workshop to try to adjust this gears. Its just ****..The front shift is touching the chain and the back gear is not good either. I want to replace it with a good old 24 speed. Less gearing and higher speed and less problems. I think Shimano engineers must have been on hollyday last 5 years, no development in a good way.

I say **** it. I dont thrust Shimano as i did anymore.

The salesman at bike store told me XT is better than XTR for durability because components improve going up to XT, but between XT and XTR, the focus is on weight reduction (with good enough durability)

Yes Ive heard so.. But thats no excuse. Paying the double for a XTR contra XT for how many grams? I think i rather would choose a better wheel, seat, tyres, tubes than have a paid the double for some grams on the shifting system. I*f you cant **** good the bike is wort 25$.
I want the drunk people at Shimano to explain why everthing is more and more **** now or a main representing to Shimano to prove me wrong.. But they cant..
Yeah they could probably hide and say..You want weight reduction..ok. Lets boycott all Shimano parts and go for other brands or maby and old LX or XT at Ebay or SRAM.

Well, if you heard that XT is more durable than XTR, and weight savings don't impress you, why did you pay double for XTR? There isn't much reason to get XTR aside from the weight savings. Also, go to store and try to see if some of your issues are covered by warranty.
Also, Fox Shox DVD doesn't play on Mac because their market research shows that Mac users are pansies who don't ride mountain bikes

XTR deraillieurs have a stiffer spring compared to the xt. The fox dvd is useless, you only have to go to their site to get to the stuff you need to see.

Wow, touchy much, ******bag? You weren't misunderstood, but apparently I was. "Just messing around" roughly means that I was kidding, and I wasn't really being a dick.

I'm happy to see internet tough guys are worldwide.

I don't think that he was meaning that badly. I think he was just wondering - hence the question. While the basic framework was there in your original questions it was indeed a bit hard to read and decipher. Which does lead many to deduce that for some reason the post was from someone with limited (although functional) command of the language. That's all. Life is still good

Personally I commend you. I have enough problems with my native language without trying a second one!

I agree with most people xtr and xt is mostly weight maybe some slight differance none i can tell. I made a hybrid rear derailer xtr top part and spring, Xt lower arm with the rollers. works great i also keep a back up XT derailer just in case. I do run the xtr cassette becuase i got deals on the last 1 one xtr part i havent broke yet.

seems like the gears on the rapid fire break easier or just have a shorter life span. I cracked the rear derailer second ride on a small stick.

Also, "wünderbar" is dated and has fallen out of use for the most part. I can't remember the "new" term, I haven't taken German for a while.

Same thing with computers. Only old weenies say "Das Computer".
