SJ Elite vs Expert

I'm looking at a possible new bike and want to get some inputs on the SJ Elite (Propedal) compared to the Expert (AFR with Brain Fade).

With a couple of months of summer under your tires, what is the consensus regarding the extra $800 for the Expert (AFR/Brain) vs the Elite (Propedal)?

Still think it's worth it?

Is the performance that much better than the Propedal?

What about X-0 vs XT? I'm partial to the XT rear because I like Rapid Rise (yes, I'm one of them...), but can always relearn "normal" shifting.

I have an Epic, so am familiar with how the Brain works, but not the Brain Fade... seems that it doesn't really offer much more than the Propedal, since it doesn't really lock out.

Thanks for all your inputs!

Well i have the elite and love the bike...friend of mine got the expert and did not like it at first...after riding it awhile and getting it properly dialed in he enjoys it much better now. He bought last years model (07) so it wasnt as big a hit on his wallet. He is still up in the air if it is that much better or not from out discussions.
