It's been about 4 weeks since I last rode on the dirt.
Ruined the internals to my rear hub, tried rebuilding, didn't work to plan. So I have been waiting for parts to build a new rear wheel. Also going to be ordering some new tires soon. the ones I have are not in the best of shapes at the moment.

I have not ridden once in 2008. Happens sometimes. I get bored with it and take time off. I took off most of 2001. Apples to Oranges in this case, just thought I'd share. I unlike you gents don't really miss it. Maybe get back into it this winter.

Sorry you haven't been able to ride dude. Good luck getting back out. If you're in NC, around Raleigh, I have a Dakar I could probably loan you.
I went about 4 days without riding one time and started getting the shakes.

When the riding gets in the way of my drinking, that's when I know I have a problem.

Even though I've been off the mountain bike I'm glad I bought the C-dale a month ago as it's not bothering my back to ride and being a roadie is kinda fun......

I found my daily riding routine cut short by a one week vacation to the florida outpouring then to Tennessee to look at houses down there... I stayed active though. Bought a cheap skateboard and went boarding in nashville. That was fun but I'm glad to be on my piece of junk bike.

I did notice that I was somewhat rusty when riding it today, but it quickly went away.

Road riding can be a blast. A lot of my friends haven't been able to mtb lately, so I've been finding group roadie rides. I've been doing a bunch of miles and meeting great people. When I do get to go mtb with friends, I spank em
