am i ready?

I am training to start racing but i really don't know how i am doing. I am planning to race in the WORS series in Wisconsin next summer but i really dont have anything to gauge my progress too. What should be some goals or speeds i should be able to reach?

One time a week at least go and ride your local as fast as you can. Keep hydrated.

Best way to do those things, to know how you're doing? Get out and race! Why wait till next Summer? You really have nothing to lose. It's just racing, not life threatening, and should include the goal of having fun.
