I cheetoed an XTR rear derailluer last Sat. Actually just the stop plate that hold the tension screw is broken. the rest is just modified slightly. I wasn't going to start a thread, but since we got this one going, I'll post pics when the new part gets in.

The only Cheetos that come to my mind are the classic bent deraileur hanger. You know, the one that moves the deraileur over until it catches in your spokes and Cheetos the deraileur and spokes? Luckly my wheel came out of it Cheeto-free. I also Cheeto'd a deraileur hangar clean off.

Oh, and on my very first bike I adjusted the shifter cable too far and the ferrule thing came out. I Cheeto'd the threads trying to screw it back in.

hmm didnt take pics but broke one of my carbon bar ends into pieces after going over a log pyramid and not clearing my chainring I think. At least I did a graceful somersault when I flipped over the bars- which I would imagine to be un-cheeto

I Cheeto'd the rear wheel on my 1978 Schwinn roadie SS today. Dunno how that happened, but that's the way the Cheeto crumbles.

This can only go so far, before it gets old.
As this thread is an antynom to my name.
Cheeto stands for excellence.

Don't worry, it's not stickied - - just Ed's wishful thinking.

This thread is as good as stickied as long as someone Cheetos something on their bike and shows up to report it.

Considering how often Cheeto cheetoes things, if he would be so kind as to post them here instead of creating a thread per cheetoed component, we wouldn't have to worry about any more threads and this one would effectively be stickied.

I had a minor crash and cheeto'd the twistlock on my Sigma cyclocomputer. Luckily the computer itself is fine despite flying about 10 feet away.

Edit: Sorry for the crappy cell phone picture, too lazy to search for my camera.

It is of a humorous quality because "sailboat fuel" is nonexistent, implying Cheeto "is empty-headed", or in layman's terms, of low intelligence.

I'll admit it got a smile out of me.

Anyway, so how many forms of Cheeto are there? I can think of a noun form, verb, and adjective at the moment.

You are so sad. First you try to explain the joke, which should never be necessary. You then explain it incorrectly. Sailboats use AIR making Cheeto an AIRHEAD.

(In all honesty I made that up on the spot, but it does sound right.)

I'd say that it can be explained either way. And my explanation was not intended for the morons who didn't understand it.

But I laughed.
