FS Frameset only availability
 

I'm not getting a straight answer from LBS, and would like to discover all my options for a diy custom build of a size large FS XC-ish (maybe leaning slightly to AM) bike, to get the exact features I really want. I'm not finding frameset only info on mfgr websites. It's not a must to get the lightest, sexiest frame, but it seems like the big makers only offer the high-end model as frame only. I realize full well that economy of scale depends on package deals, but I'm just jonesing to buck the system. I'm 6',2" & 195.

I have found these framesets available, which I have interest in : Yeti 575(Al & carbon), SantaCruz Blur XC, Giant Anthem X

Anyone know about frameset only on : Trek TopFuel & EX, GaryFisher HiFi Carbon, C-Dale Rize

Any other framesets you can suggest?

Thanks for input. And, no, I my dream isn't really to open an Ebay store to sell off

new up/down grade parts. ;)

Trek and Fisher don't do framesets, I'm guessing c-dale won't either. The 575 would be an excellent choice.

Santa Cruz will also do frame only.
