I have a pair of BG Pro's and like them a lot. I believe that the only difference is that the Pro's use a buckle on the top strap. I like the Specialized fit very much. They give a lot of room in the toe box and have a good feel to them. And yes, they do take toe spikes.

I love mine, and there are already plugs in the threads for the spikes, but the shoes come with the tool to put the included spikes in. The only thing I didn't like about mine was the "sticky" buckle, so I chopped part of the plastic guard of the current buckle off and put on a Sidi road buckle and the shoes are PERFECT now.

thats why I went to the sport. 3 velcro straps. I have the road comp version and I hate their buckle.
I cant find a tool that shipped with the shoes.
