DMulyava 03-11-04 03:03 PM

kona_roastbika,

Just curious.. why the decision to run Vs on the front, and discs on the back?

hmm, good observation

Maelstrom 03-11-04 05:20 PM

Bike came stock with v's if I remember right. And v's are better for tricking, if thats what he is into. Much easier to setup for barspins and such. I also find it easier to nollie with v's, I feel like I have more control over my brake.

Those would be my reasons, and in fact are the reason I am switching to v's in the front.

kona_roastbika 03-11-04 05:46 PM

ya maelstrom read my mind lol i perfer v's in front u guys got ne forks in mind that i should upgrade to?

Maelstrom 03-11-04 06:00 PM

Get a set of djers to start. They are great forks for urban and tricking. Past that, I would get a set of jrT's...but then again I have told you this already.

kona_roastbika 03-11-04 06:33 PM

thanks i forgot what u said about jrt

The one I have would cost about $450 USD, got mine though for $100 off, because of working at the shop I got it from and IMBA member discount.

kona_roastbika 03-11-04 09:09 PM

kona_roastbika 03-12-04 01:25 AM

but i'm looking for 03 - 04 dj's or JRT for my roast

Ktulu 03-12-04 07:27 AM

Sweet bikes fellas. I'd love one, even though I don't really ride like those are meant to be ridden.

Hey Danka, how you liken that new Iced Earth album?

Gurgus 03-12-04 12:09 PM

Dude I've got the same Roast as you. I've got 2001 Z4 on it and avid arch rivals. Not the best set-up, but it works fine. If you are into urban riding at all, I'd recommend some Hookworms. I've got them on my bike and it makes it feel like a completely different animal. It feels more like a road bike speed wise. Gurgus.

kona_roastbika 03-12-04 05:04 PM

i'm into hard core drops and stuff heh
