Anybody know anything about Oryx? (the framebuilder, not the cantis)

Hey all, I picked up a mountain bike on CL the other day because the deal was right and I'm wondering if anyone can give me any info on it: It's an Oryx HTA 500, a Canadian-made aluminum frame from '99. I bought it "used." Judging by tire and chain wear it had a couple of rides on it and has been sitting in a garage for most of a decade.
Does anyone know anything about this Canadian framebuilder? I love the bike so far, upgrading to Avid BB7s this weekend because those early mechanical discs were... lacking. But everything else on the bike (27-speed XTR, Judy XC, Formula/DT/Sun Sub IV wheelset) is awesome so far.
I'll put up a pic when I get home tonight.

Oh, those aren't the ones that only weigh 5 lbs. and clean like the dickens, eh?

Here's some archived Oryx stuff, the more recent archived Oryx pages come up as Rocky Mountain, maybe they bought out Oryx.
