Thoughts about forks

I'm thinking about getting a 2007 Bianchi Rita frame. The frame is designed around a 100 mm fork, but the fork I have is 80 mm. Will there be a problem with that? I understand that the geometry will be a little different because the headtube angle will be steeper, but will it cause any other issues?
