Super sized bashguards?

I just got back from a longish ride in the cold in shorts. In the last day or so, the temp has dropped from the 50-60 to the mid 30s. What I need is a bash guard (around 30$ I hope) that will fit around a 44 tooth chain ring. I'd like to give that a bit more protection, and I'd like to be able to wear long pants without getting them ripped off. I'm not going to wear tights, which I have somewhere, for hucking off of crap around town, and even with rubber bands and the pant legs tucked into socks, I still get my pant legs torn. BTW, I just spend around 30 minutes searching at online stores.

Edit: 4 bolt BTW is what I need.

bbgbash.com has larger gaurds, i think your still sposed to remove your big ring for em, but if you had longer chainring bolts you could prolly have both, you could also just put a velco thing around your pants to keep em from tearing

Yeah, I think I'm just going to pull off my big ring for the winter. I have a road bike to ride on the road with, and I've never used my big ring on the trail (once on a fire road). Nothing seems to keep my pant legs out of the chain ring.

I use a hubcap from a 1976 Buick Electra. Works great and adds that extra touch of class.

You can run three rings (incl. a 44T big ring) with this Blackspire guard.
