I kept the reflectors on my bike for a full year just to piss everyone off.

What about the few times they are not. Then you break spokes (btw, I have no dork disk on my bike).

That gives me an idea: red and white reflectors on the Blindside in alternating pairs. Where can I get red spoke-reflectors?

The plastic spoke protector is obviously there for a reason.
And I doubt bike companies put them on just to have people take them off or be called silly names.
That being said...I took mine off because I got tired of people calling me silly names...

^Lol, what a ----.

No, I really dont blame you or anyone else.

It seems very, department store-ish to put a plastic guard on many $3000+ bikes. I never had any problem with my chain so i snapped the silly thing off (that should tell you something already, any part you can snap of your bike, shouldnt be there anyway)

If the spoke protector has a LBD on it, removal would be foolhardy at best.

Normally "Load Bearing Decals" are used to support muffler bearings on turboencabulators.

Similar to the Wolverine, Chuck Norris had LBD's implanted along his skeleton at a young age.

Sometimes they reinforce whole bridges and deflect bus attacks - - turning some tall buses into short-buses.
