I'd like to say this thanksgiving I'm thankful for......A great family, having so many local trails there is still a lot I've yet to ride.......and the elf.

Do you all recommend the single speed turkey or the geared turkey?

A fat turkey will keep you from getting arm fatigue on the DH if you stand up on him.

Fully rigid turkey will make you a better bone picker.

happy holiday, all.

2.5 hour night ride last night.

lotsa' food today. at work now. then off for five days. plan is to cram a bunch of riding in there, around some holiday junk.

brought a rosemary-chedder crusted pear pie for my co-workers tonight.

Didn't overdo it this year, just like in previous years past.

Definitely is, and not munching on stuff before hand.

Yes. Drink early, eat in the middle, then eat again later. Nothing like a delicous turkey sandwich around 8 or so. Mmm mmm.

Phase one: complete.

Phase Two: tomorrow, 23 pound turkey to feed 5 people. Not sure how thats going to go. Me thinks turkey sandwiches for a long while.

Phase three: Saturday, ride/videography project at one of the local trails, I'll post the video to get opinions once I get it edited.

Phase four: Sunday, ride/filming of a guy I know's movie at some trails I'm a bit unfamiliar with.

All and all, I think it'll end up being a good break.
