i kinda have an idea of what i want...
i ride mostly xc, but don't want to hesitate to jump off something (usually small). so i guess im looking for a beefier hardtail? ive been riding for a few years on an ibex dual suspension but as i got more into riding the past year i broke a bunch of parts. im looking for something that can handle being ridden hard a few days a week without breaking the bank. the gary fisher site told me i needed something at least $2500...
ive been looking at the specialized all mountain p series, kona cindercone and caldera, and a few bikes direct option like the motobecane fantom elite. anything else i should consider in that price range? on the old bike http://photos-e.ll.facebook.com/phot...03580_8837.jpg http://photos-g.ll.facebook.com/phot...03582_9428.jpg |

How big is the stuff you jump off of? Because i'm not afraid to hit 3' drops on my 24lb. 3.5" travel FS rig. It's all about style.
