I'm a YouTube crash-&-burn star!

I was searching for a specific YouTube vid of the Beacon (Spokane) DH course this morning and instead turned up this one that I was not aware of:

The hack who endos the step-up right at the start of the video is me.

"I'm OK!!" I think the spectators were laughing to much to really care if you were all right.

That was pretty funny. How'd the bike fair? Looked like a soft landing.

^^ Bike was fine; those 2.5s and the fork just sucked it up. That was when I learned for certain that the Gran Mal did not just pop off lips - - that you had to consciously yank on the bars to get it to loft.

Only casualty was my goggles which half came apart and pulled the frame partially over my eyes for the rest of the course.

Ya, "I'm OK!" Haha! I forgot I'd said that. As if anyone cared. They were probably all thinking "I hope the bike's OK; hope he didn't bend the stachions" instead.

Strict secrecy surrounding RST's Skunk Works 'black box' project and product testing parameters prevent me from revealing the specific reason.
