Looks like a 2001 paint scheme. Can't tell what model.

Fisher

Yeah I agree it looks like a 2001-2002. And that's an XS frame with Genesis geometry if I'm not mistaken. Any idea of the components on it?

Have you tried https://www.bikepedia.com
I use that all the time when looking at used bikes online, has worked 95% of the time.

The ebay ad was revised on the 12-29-08 and states that it's a 'Marlin-Genesis ' https://cgi.ebay.com/GARY-FISHER-MOUNTAIN-BIKE
Don't pay any attention to the 26 inch frame size that's stated in the ad, 26 inches is the wheel size not the frame size. Before you think about buying it I'd find out the actual frame size and if it would be suited to you, it's best to get a bike with the right size frame for you and not one with a frame that's too big or too small for you.
The color scheme seems to imply that it's a 2001 model: https://bikepedia.com/QuickBike/BikeSpecs.aspx?ItemID=35655&Type=bike

I have a 17.5 inch marlin with genesis and it looks about the same size as that one. That one is its definatley bigger than a 15". those have more of a sloping frame. my friend has one. so I'd say 17 about.

Hmmm

I'd be reeeeeeal careful about bidding on this one. This is the seller's first eBay posting, and the fact that he or she doesn't seem to know a single thing about it just raises the sketchiness factor

At 100 plus 49.95 shipping you are getting close to the max reasonable re-sale for good condition. I'd go with the reeeeeal careful thought. It dosen't look to have anything super about it.

I'd guess by looking that it's a 16.5, to 17.5 inch frame.
But...........

This guys isn't answering your questions and you are still thinking of buying from him, and he has '0' feedback?

Let it go man, find something else.
