Could be worse - - I've got snow/freeze and no thaw. Still 2+ feet on the ground. Now I'm looking for 6 inches of fresh to put a little cushion on the ice for XC Falling . . . errr . . . Skiiing.

I feel ya. We have the same thing here. Most of our trails close. But some of the unofficial ones stay open

Ours technically don't close, but if we want to keep 'em open...we don't ride.

Our soil here is so crappy that if its even damp, we get ruts. I've learned to really enjoy the limited urban we have around here.

I've been riding road for a few years now and my fiancé got me a mountain bike for Christmas (which was actually pretty mild) but low and behold the day after I got it it snowed and has been crappy and since. Warmest day I rode yet was about 43 but 1/2 way through a horrible headwind/stormfront moved in and dropped about 15 degrees..... And even with that, I'm hooked....

I was victim of that myself this afternoon, wiped out pretty bad in a mud pit, that was frozen two days ago.

Modified biohazard symbol, I believe .

Which reminds me, I have to get Twenty6 shoehorned in there somewhere and in the crawl on my website too.

Heard Spokane was getting nailed this year. We got nailed but luckily it rains on this side so it was gone pretty fast. We were only under water for a few days.

Yeah, my son's living in B'ham and it looked like they got innundated pretty good. Some new construction near them decided to go mud-sledding.

It think they oughta figure out some way to jack up all of Ebey Island and put it on pilings .
