how badly does your home scream biker

bordom thread:

so i realized when i walked in the door to my apt that it is absurd (in a good way) I live by myself in an efficency so i don't have anyone hasslin me and i don't have a garage for bikes. Cursious how absurd some of you guys are (I'm sure we all dream of a bike room)

Well there's a couple bikes in the garage, and a few parts in the house office, then you go into the basement and:

Well lessee. I have the garage, which has a few hangin' around from the rafters, I have a few in the shed, one outside (there's a reason for it being out there) and then there's a couple here:

I'm currently in the process of buying a house on 11 acres in the Rocky Mountains...basically perfect biking terrain...room for a pump track, dirt jumps, I can put a road gap or two over the road up to the house, an XC loop, and a shuttle run or two with a bunch of stunts. Just waiting on the realtor to phone back with the final counter.

Just got the call from the realtor and they want to sleep on it (they're old and it's past their bedtime). We should know early in the morning but we're only $10,000 apart so we should be able to finish at our target. Plus when you're spending that much on a house, a few thousand either way isn't that big of a deal.

The frame is too small for me, I have to use a hybrid stem just to ride it. But it's one of my favorite bikes. Very comfortable, softer ride than the Giant OCR-C, but not as flexy. If I ever sell it, I'll let you know.

I don't think I'll throw open the door to the garage again for a peek - - it's just too embarrassing and frightening (Siu knows what I'm talking about). Let's just say my home screams "hick who likes bikes too."

You're kidding. It's really a bike shop. What, you trying to compete with Robin Williams.?..
Our house. The garage has evicted the car because it's the home for four bikes.. You enter the foyer. There are five bike pictures/ photos/ sketches... The entry gate. We have a flower planter with a tricycle motif.

I try to keep the bikes as out of the way as possible.
To maintain bike cred I've got a print of this hanging over the dining table.

Painted in France in 1914.

No, but I passed on a '40 Ford PU cab because I think it would all spontaneously explode if I tried to cram it in there .

This spring is finally when I pull it all out to insulate and sheetrock/slotwall.
