They look good, were they more expensive to build? (I'm assuming they were but that's not point right?)

Wow those are nice. They look like high quality; I had a pair of carbon bar ends which were in the 35 g region. They had one problem... I cranked down hard, holding the bar end and the bugger snapped off.

How do say "bar ends are ghey" in German?;)

A nice set of Gucci bar ends are hard to find. None of the LBS's in my town sell them. Just cheap stuff. Those are sweet.

we say "barends sind was für *******"! ;)
bulding WAS difficult and i needed nearly one year to make them as durable as they are today. it still takes a "few" hours to build a pair so it is not efficient.
