They'll look good especially on the end of black bars. The only problem is my white grips are more grey then white now.

Yeah, theyll get dirty too quick with the desert dust around here. It was going to be an impulse by anyway since a shop is selling them for $19. I'll just save up for these instead:

Go brown with a brown saddle if you're bored with black.

OK, troie, on the grips: They ARE pimp; but this is what they will look like after a two months (or less):

Simple green will clean them up some but the rubber its tacky and will never let go of all of it. Go with the black half-waffles.

And the wheelset: Good choice! THOSE will stay pimpin' for a long time:

Sweet jesus that blindside is pimp! How do you like the Gravity crankset? And Im probably going to pass on the white grips. I have a set of ODI Lock-On Rouges but one of the collars got jacked against a boulder last weekend. Theyve lasted a long time though!

Stairs? Pffft! It would not even know they are there, unless you were gapping the landings You need a PNW road trip.

Thanks. As far as the Gravity cranks, well . . . they are cranks. I really wanted the Gravity Lites just to save some weight - - the Gravities are a hefty 1230g - - almost as bad as my old Gaps. On the plus side, with double-row bearings on both sides, they are as close to indestructible as you could wish for.

^^ I really think I like it. While woefully inadequate as the freeride bike it was marketed as, it seems to be a darned fine trail bike - - Kinda like an X-6 (remember those?) on steroids.

In all honesty, the snow hit shortly after its maiden voyage, so it hasn't gotten much of a workout yet. Hopefully next Wed. will be the unofficial start of the weekly shop rides, so I will be able to put it to work some more.
